LWC
LWC (LightWeight Chest Protection) is a plugin designed to protect interactable blocks such as chests, doors, furnaces, dispensers, and so on. It has been in development since 2010 since the days of hey0 (later known as hMod). It is in active use on thousands of minecraft servers.
Despite LWC using a database as its backend, it has been tuned for performance and any speed deficiences from using a database will absolutely not be noticeable.
- Zero setup. Aside tinkering with Permissions if wanted, LWC is ready to go afterwards.
-
Protect blocks using Public, Private, or Password protection types
- Public: Anyone can use the protection, but no one can protect it for themselves
- Private: Only you can access or destroy the block. You can also assign players or groups to be able to access your protection
- Password: Anyone (including you!) must enter a password to access your protection for the duration of your login.
- Modular. Extend LWC features with custom modules. Already existing ones include allowing you to charge users for protections (and refund them, too!) and provide Spout GUIs
- Enforce limits. Only allow specific groups or players to protect X protections. Or do you have exotic requirements? You can also create limits based on block count: e.g, only allow a player to protect 5 chests, 2 furnaces, and 0 dispensers/doors/etc
- Enable special flags and modes. Drop items into a chest at any distance. Disable redstone on doors, allow chests to automatically loot items around them, and more!
Requirements
- CraftBukkit >1000. That's it!
